My successful college experience will be based on three major components, which are acquiring knowledge from top educators, building a solid network with peers, and jumpstarting my career with the help of my educational institution. I am convinced that Carnegie Mellon University provides these three elements most completely and thoroughly because the faculty is comprised of the top experts. In addition, the university’s campus and university life are built to connect students, and it provides career aids through job fairs and other activities.
In the modern age, knowledge and information became freely available online, but gaining it from one of the best professors and instructors is one of the main reasons to go to university. By conducting small research of faculty members of Carnegie Mellon University, it becomes evident that many of them are well-established and respected in their spheres. In addition, the university allows a person to meet new people who can become lifelong friends and potential colleagues. CMU excels at ensuring that students connect and communicate with each other, and it does so by facilitating a wide range of extracurricular activities. Educational institutions also possess their own set of measures to help the student successfully enter the job market. CMU’s Career & Professional Development Center is one of the most active and result-driven departments. I firmly believe that they will help me to land a decent job after my graduation, which is especially difficult under the current conditions.
In conclusion, my successful college experience is comprised of top educators, strong networks, and career aid. The only university that can give me all of them in one package is Carnegie Mellon University. It has outstanding faculty members, a network-promoting environment, and a highly professional Career & Professional Development Center. Therefore, I am willing to become an invaluable member of CMU to respectfully cherish and carry on Andrew Carnegie’s legacy.
