Online Classes as a Better Method of Learning

The COVID-19 pandemic forced a lot of educational institutions to introduce online classes into the learning process. Due to the development of digital technologies and the functioning of various programs, it did not become a problem. On the contrary, it showed that this type of learning could be effective and useful. Online classes help students with different learning styles; they contribute to pupils’ success in school, letting them study at their own pace and making learning more comfortable and exciting.

One of the main advantages of online education is its efficiency in teaching students with different learning styles. Online classes offer visual, aural, verbal, and kinaesthetic learners various tools suitable to them: presentations, records with lectures, videos, and scripts to them, and the opportunity to do something active while learning. In a traditional classroom setting, teachers cannot provide all these tools; therefore, online learning supplies students with more facilities.

Online education helps students achieve success not only in school but also in their self-development. Many pupils begin to respond more often and be more active: hiding behind screens, they feel more relaxed and not afraid to voice the wrong answer. All materials are preserved after classes, which lets students learn everything they did not remember during the lesson. Online education develops pupils’ creative thinking and virtual communication and improves their technological skills.

Online classes are more comfortable for students and teachers. Due to its effectiveness and convenience, “e-education is getting traction in almost all parts of the world and is here to stay worldwide” (Palvia et al. 238). It lets pupils and teachers work at home and not waste time getting the school, contributing to better time management. In addition, it allows pupils to study in comfortable conditions: for instance, they can choose the place to work and clothes. Therefore, online classes are helpful in learning and offer additional opportunities related to comfort.

Online classes being suitable for people with different learning styles contribute to achieving study goals and help students succeed. They supply pupils with a wide range of tools, due to which it is possible to assimilate the information better, be more active, and feel more comfortable. Thus, this type of learning is better for students and is worth using in educational institutions of different levels.
