The chosen topic for the study is “The effectiveness of management skills for educational leadership in the success of the educational process.” The ever-changing environment and the development of awareness in society made leadership skills critically valued. The leader can completely change the structure of learning, which will lead to a more effective educational process and research. For a more complete and correct analysis, it is necessary to review past dissertations on similar topics (Grad Coach, 2019). However, the term “leadership” in the success of the educational process is abstract and does not have enough information in the context, which requires additional research. The problem to which the work is directed is to identify aspects of leadership management to ensure the success of the educational process.
It is essential to study this topic first and foremost because the quality of education itself depends on the effectiveness of governance. Management effectiveness, in turn, depends on management skills, which are very important because it involves many different aspects. It is the management of the development processes of the education system as a whole, its various subsystems, structures, and levels in particular. Here we are talking about quantitative parameters, the number of educational institutions, and the people studying there. By studying this topic, it is possible to thoroughly understand the effectiveness of the application of management skills and, as a consequence, to derive a working scheme. Another reason why it is necessary to study this topic is that the education system in today’s world is in crisis. One of the reasons for this crisis lies in the nature of educational reforms, which are often carried out without a clearly stated goal and without identifying the best ways to achieve it.
Management of the education system is becoming ineffective under these conditions, as evidenced by its rampant bureaucratization and the high level of internal and external conflict in the system. As a result, problems are growing in all spheres of educational activity – from the content and quality of educational programs to their staffing. The correct application of management skills can help to avoid these problems. In researching management skills in education, I would like to clarify the main aspects of their correct application. In addition, I would like to find out how to improve the quality of education by changing the way these skills are applied.
It is essential to maintain an ethical approach when researching educational leadership. It implies respect for the subjects and preserving confidential data (Vialle et al., 2015). Furthermore, for a country study, several factors must be taken into account. The main ones are the number of population in a region, state, or province and their ratio to the number of subjects (Cohen et al., 2017). The type of data, categorical or continuous, and further calculation of the error probability depends on this indicator.
